Vitamin D Treatment
Alleviate the Symptoms of Vitamin D Deficiency
Vitamin D deficiency (hypovitaminosis D) is a cause of general fatigue and weakness, headaches, depression, and a weakened immune system. It has also been associated with a wide range of health problems, such as a poorer outlook in heart disease, cognitive impairment and cancer. Bone problems such as aches and pains, and osteoporosis, can also occur. A deficiency in vitamin D can occur because of low dietary intake (such as a strict vegetarian diet), a limited exposure to sunlight, obesity, or a kidney or gastrointestinal condition such as inflammatory bowel disease.
Why Have a Vitamin D Injection?
Vitamin D deficiency is one of the treatable causes of chronic fatigue that is commonly missed. A single injection can replace your vitamin D levels back to normal.
What Does a Vitamin D Injection Involve?
Following a consultation with one of our Doctors, the injection will be administered by a registered healthcare professional (either a Doctor or a Registered nurse). The injection will be intramuscularly.
