This is a fibre-optic camera investigation to investigate the large bowel. As well as visualising the bowel, biopsies can be taken of any suspicious lesions seen (sometimes lesions can be completely removed this way).
The scan may be recommended following a consultation with one of our friendly GPs. Following the scan, you will have a follow up appointment to discuss your results.
