Allergy Testing
Rapid Access to the Services you Require
Nu offers a wide range of allergy tests to confirm true allergies. If a test comes back positive, action can be taken to avoid the allergen (such as not wearing certain metallic jewellery) or to treat the allergy and minimise its impact on your life (such as Grazax injections to treat grass pollen allergies). Allergy tests will be ordered following a full consultation with one of our friendly GPs. Our experienced Doctors will give practical advice for any positive tests performed.
- Blood Tests
We offer antibody blood tests on over 500 allergens, such as nuts, certain food types and materials. These allow you to confirm any suspicions you may have had, and allow you to take any necessary action.
- Patch Test
Nu also offers a patch test of the most common antigens you may come across in everyday life (such as metals, or pollens).
