Trichomoniasis

Trichomoniasis

Trichomoniasis is a common sexually transmitted disease which is spread via unprotected sex. If it is identified early, it can normally be completely treated with antibiotics.

If left untreated, trichomoniasis can cause inflammation of the genitals which makes it more likely to catch other STDs. Women with trichomoniasis are more likely to have low birth weight babies and deliver them prematurely.

If you think you may have put yourself at risk, we recommend you get tested for this and other STI’s as quickly as possible, limiting the risk of complications. Nu Health perform these tests quickly, professionally and confidentially making it as stress free as possible.
